Well, if there is enough space, then it makes no sense to limit yourself in comfort, you can organize a truly luxurious relaxation area with all the attendant attributes. We would like to demonstrate just such an example of arranging a leisure segment in a private courtyard. A non-trivial approach to the traditional elements of landscape design, industrial motifs in the design of structures and structures, an organic mix of building and finishing materials, a lot of greenery and comfortable places to relax - this is how we can briefly describe the following photo selection of arranging one private courtyard.

A soft relaxation area under a canopy is located in the lowland in relation to the wooden platform on which the owners of the house fall, leaving the back door of the household. Almost the entire perimeter space is filled with soft sofas with removable backs and seats. This is a very practical approach in organizing a soft zone on the street because, despite the presence of a roof over sofas, their upholstery will get dirty more often than similar pieces of furniture in the house.

A high brick fence is a fence for the recreation area on one side. The other part of the fence was made of concrete slabs, it hides the chimney of a street fireplace and serves as a backdrop for the projector. On these vertical planes, a complicated canopy design is based, which is partially made of metal, wood and covered with transparent polycarbonate.

Due to the fact that the cover of the canopy is almost completely transparent, the place to relax in the fresh air is filled with sunlight and does not need to be illuminated in the daytime, despite the high walls that enclose the recreation area and create a shadow on hot days.

For evening and night time, a large-scale patio is equipped with a lighting system of various modifications. Several small spotlights are mounted on the beams of the canopy, in the fireplace area there is an integrated lighting system for local lighting.

Projectors fixed on a metal channel can be turned in different directions, depending on the location of the lighting fixtures, you can create the desired atmosphere in the recreation area, highlight a woodpile or soft segment for relaxation.

The entire lighting system is controlled by switches located at the entrance to the patio area. There is also a socket for connecting a projector or any other equipment, household appliances.

A large screen and a projector make it possible to organize a home theater in the fresh air. In such a large sitting area with soft sofas, you can accommodate a large family and receive guests.

A high coffee table, composed of three building pallets, can be used individually, depending on the number of people resting under a canopy and the situation - a party or a simple family dinner.

In order to slightly soften the industrial spirit of arranging a recreation area under a canopy, green plants of various varieties and sizes were planted near a brick fence. Amid the abundance of concrete, metal and glass surfaces, the green flowerbed looks like an oasis, a breath of freshness in the “industrial desert”.

You can get into the relaxation area with soft sofas and a street fireplace not only from home, but also by climbing the wooden steps to the platform from the courtyard. Here is the entrance to the basement located under the platform.

For the safety of moving around the house at night, under the wooden flooring, a backlight system is built in, creating the necessary level of lighting for the lawn path leading to the courtyard from the recreation area under the canopy.

The key to success in landscaping a private courtyard is the use of plants of various heights, perennial species and evergreens that will create the right atmosphere for a personal plot at any time of the year. The combination of green spaces and stone embankments will help not only to add variety to the image of the local area, but also to create a harmonious, balanced landscape design of a private courtyard.
