Currently, when everything develops and does not stand still, leather is used not only as upholstery for furniture - designers went further. However, it is always worth remembering that smoking in such rooms is strictly prohibited, because the skin perfectly absorbs all odors. The leather floor is completely unsuitable for hallways, for kitchens and children's rooms, i.e. for areas with active exploitation, as leather is an expensive material.
Also, leather mats with the most original structure are often used in interiors, for example, in the form of sheared suede or twisted and woven ribbons and cords or simply as a smooth surface. By the way, combined carpets made of leather and fur are unusually spectacular.

Leather as accessories

Leather accessories today you can find the most diverse, for example, decorative leather baskets or lamps with shades covered with leather.

In addition, door and cabinet handles, as well as vases, ashtrays, curtains, shutters and more, can be decorated with leather - all this gives the interior a special style. Currently, with the development of technologies for processing and dressing the skin, this material has generally become quite widely used. Not only furniture, but also household appliances, computers, telephones, etc. can be covered with leather, which allows you to turn an ordinary thing into a “living thing”, as well as make it an exclusive item, and give the interior a special chic and warmth.
